Solicitors Fee - Save On Solicitors Costs.

Solicitors fee are on the rise. But people don’t realize the extent of solicitors fee in the case of a personal injury claim. All they know is that they themselves stand to recover compensation for personal injuries further to an accident.

They are duped into believing that they are protected against solicitors fee by a ‘no win no fee’ agreement. They sign to the agreement without really knowing what they are signing for. In the majority of cases they do not read the contracts they sign and only become aware of it’s significance when something goes wrong.

They also pay dearly for the privilege of a ‘no win no fee’ agreement when there are available alternatives. Some people are asked to take out a personal funding loan and live to regret the whole personal injury experience subsequently.

Basically, the only protected party is the solicitor in the entire scenario. Every bit of work they do is recorded from the number of letters written and received to the number of telephone calls.

Did you notice I said letters ‘received’ for which they generally charge half the rates for letters written. If you think solicitors fee are cheap then consider £150 per hour plus vat and more for senior partners for personal injury work.

At the conclusion of a successful personal injury claim sometimes it is pitiful to note the comparison between damages received by the claimant for compensation for their injuries and the amount paid out for solicitors fee.

A solicitor in a personal injury claim can claim for what is called an ‘uplift’ of costs depending on the nature and complexity of a claim.

In these circumstances the above quoted ‘base’ cost per hour becomes £300 per hour or more in their final costs for dealing with your personal injury claim.

Can you afford to be at risk for this level of solicitors fee when you sign a ‘no win no fee’ agreement at your solicitor’s office?
